I'll give you the client's view....If it were in my budget I wouldn't be
sitting here night after night trying to learn another programming code,
plus MySQL, plus designing a web site, actually two web sites. If I
could budget the money I'd hire a designer and programmer and get on
with other important matters. I wouldn't bother with the nuts and bolts
for the same reason, though I know how to paint, I wouldn't use my time
to paint the office...I'd hire someone to do the painting or run new
electrical circuits, or assemble desks or try to do my own accounting.
Of course this isn't true for all clients, some will, not matter what or
their experience level, try and paint the office on their own.
