As they used to say on some old TV commercial here (pasta sauce?)
"It's in there!". ;)
Forgot to mention that before. Thanks for mentioning it, as it'll
probably help others troubleshooting other problems too, but it was
done here.
I was going to put in my whole ./configure line here, but I'm realizing
simply doing ./configure --with-pdflib=/usr/local/lib is failing.
Everyone's pointers to do './configure --with-pdflib' fail, with the error
message that I need to use Pdflib 3.x, indicating that it wasn't finding
the right version (if any). Similarly, './configure
--with-pdflib=/usr/local'
fails.
PDFLIB 3.01 *WAS* built with
./configure --enable-shared-pdflib, just in case anyone asks. ;)
Thanks Jeremy for your suggestion - if you have any other thoughts,
please let me know. :)
