None of my customers are using session IDs right now, so I don't have an answer. Sorry.
The system is compiled staticly - I find the time required to compile to be a nit, I've never
had a problem linking in SSL or MySQL or a few other modules I run (auth_mysql, cntr, etc.), and
when I run the test httpds I can rename them and _know_ what I'm testing. I've had no
downtime due to misconfiguration that way (I've had downtime on my own sites due to stupidity,
though ... :^( )
