Ive used windows and linux to write php software, ive come to this.
windows,
ultraedit,
IE / netscape.
-windows sucks, my laptop was continuously rebooting and locking
-ultraedit rocked, best I ever used
-IE was ok, but not strickt enough, too laxon syntax
-netscape was to strinct. both were semi stable
linux,
nedit,
netscape, mozilla
-linux is fast and stable, great OS
-nedit lacks, nedit locks if I loose my mounted drive connection for even
a second
-netscape on linux sucks, it crashes every two min, mozilla is even worse
My question here is this, is there a good system for programming out
there? BeOS ? DOS?
Has anyone got a setup that works, good OS, good editor, good html
viewer.
