Yikes - I'm stumped ...
I know fopen() is only HTTP 1.0 (maybe 1.1 now ...) but definately not SSL.
One thing to look at is a little app call w3m which is like lynx only renders
tables, frames, etc. - they have an SSL version of that called "w3m-ssl" you
could then do "w3m-ssl-en -dump https://secure.server.com/foo.dll?var=joe"
in PHP and it will return the results into the variable:
soooo :
$return =
w3m-ssl-en -dump https://secure.server.com/foo.dll?var=joe`;
would have the results of that DLL in it :O) - I guess I wasn't stumped after
all...
