Have you looked at the cUrl libraries.
Curl supports posts / gets etc. (php4.0 and up though /php 3 through
external calls)
There was an article on php builder a while ago about it.

Sorry guys, Its late here, and Im out of Jolt....
What Im trying to do is to make a secure connection to the Authorize.net
Credit Card Processing server. There is a specific DLL file that I need to
access on that server, and it is necessary to pass the variables to the
server through the URL which they will only allow if I have a secure
connection. But I don't know how to do this... The only other way I could do
it is if someone has / or knows of a simple way to submit a POST ......
without an action from the user. I need to process and check the information
before I send it to the server... and I don't want to have to make the user
hit submit 2x, because that will force me to place variables in hidden
fields which could compromise the data, or my service. (IE, the Authorize
login name which must be in the post). If I could change authorization
providers I would, but it is for a client that is hell bent to stay....
so.... how do I do either of these things:
A) make a secure connection with a server for this purpose?
or
B)Submit information via a POST after processing and without a form?
Hope that helps.
