Hi,
i've all the necessary dev files installed, but just discovered the following:
pkg_failed=no
echo "$as_me:$LINENO: checking for ATK_CFLAGS" >&5
echo $ECHO_N "checking for ATK_CFLAGS... $ECHO_C" >&6
if test "${pkg_cv_ATK_CFLAGS+set}" = set; then
echo $ECHO_N "(cached) $ECHO_C" >&6
else
if test "x$ac_cv_env_ATK_CFLAGS_set" = "xset"; then
pkg_cv_ATK_CFLAGS=$ac_cv_env_ATK_CFLAGS_valueelif test -n "$PKG_CONFIG"; then
if $PKG_CONFIG --exists "atk >= atk_required_version" >/dev/null 2>&1; then
pkg_cv_ATK_CFLAGS=`$PKG_CONFIG --cflags "atk >= atk_required_version" 2>/dev/null`
else
pkg_failed=yes
fi
else
pkg_failed=untriedfi fi If you look at the line PKG_CONFIG --exists you will see $PKG_CONFIG --exists "atk >= atk_required_version" so this definitely won't work. After I manually edited the configure files it blow on the Pango check -> same issue. After fixing these, I finally was able to run a compile but it did fail soon. I'll investigate further. - markus Andrei Zmievski wrote:
Can you run checks by hand? pkg-config --cflags atk pkg-config --libs atk I don't know what else to tell you, except to see how pkg.m4 runs those checks and try to debug them. -Andrei On Apr 25, 2005, at 5:31 AM, Markus Fischer wrote:Well ok, the message is clear now: configure: error: PHP-GTK 2.x requires ATK 1.8.0 or higher Seems there's something not kosher, as I've 1.8.0 installed. The config.log is still the same and doesn't tell me what is wrong with the atk detection: configure:6922: checking for ATK_CFLAGS configure:6939: result: configure:6941: checking for ATK_LIBS configure:6958: result: configure:6966: error: PHP-GTK 2.x requires ATK 1.8.0 or higher thanks, - Markus
