PEAR installation from CVS + PhpDoc

Dear all,
1) Pear from CVS
I have not been using PEAR for a while, waiting for a CVS merge between /php4
and /Pear. Could someone explain me again how to perform a fresh install of
PEAR from CVS? The documentation page about CVS is missing. Maybe there have
been changes since I last installed from CVS.
2) PhpDoc
I thought PhpDoc was part of Pear. In http://cvs.php.net, it
appears to be
outside of the PEAR tree. I want to install phpdoc. How can I proceed?
