I disagree.
Stig reasoning is quite acceptable.
The purpose of CVS is to make it easier to track changes.
For this it is important to make commits message meaningful and changes
to be as small as possible and not change multiple things in one step.
Therefore it makes sense to frequently commit while you are still very
much aware of the details of your modifications.
Anyways the important thing is that all developers of a certain
package/project get along .. and since stig is pretty much alone on this
package its his to call the shorts.
