Christian, I beg your pardon, but if you bothered to read the readme file or *gasp* even consult the sources of my fork, instead of making guesses you should be able to see that caching 1) Is optional; 2) Is completely transparent; 3) Does not affect BC. Now, would you please vote on my proposal? TIA.
