I agree with everything said here however I see one exception being the
MVC framework. Personally I'd like to see more use of the MVC in PEAR
and, if that were to ever happen, an agreed upon approach would be nice.
My assumption would be that such a package would be part of the base PEAR
not a separate module.

I posted a URL to this a while back but got not feedback so either nobody
cared are you all really are against stuff like this in PEAR.
Like I said, I agree that most patterns are a matter of designing the
application and have no place for PEAR, however, I see the base MVC object
as a possible exception.
