I assume, you're refering to the LGPL issue. Stig asked RMS once about
it, but I don't know if he ever got an answer... (The LGPL is quite
unclear, when it comes to scripting..:)
The question in my opinion is still, is a include()d class a library in
the LGPL sense or is it compiled in... Maybe someone else has an answer
to that...

As maybe the whole PECL stuff will be much different than it is now with
PHP 5 (meaning a lot of extension from php4/ext should go to pear/PECL),
I'm not sure, if we should answer this question now.
