I see a big problem here: If we once begin to somehow support the
commercial product UltraDev by promoting parts of it through our
website, soon other (non-)commercial IDE projects will come up with
the idea of distributing packages for their IDE along from
pear.php.net.
If we then say "No, we can't do that, since it would be a big mess
on pear.php.net having packages for so much IDEs", people will think
that we are biased or influenced by Macromedia and will turn away
from PEAR.
So I'm -1 for this right now, but at the same time I'm always open for
ideas or suggestions to this topic.
