This talk is not needed, why do you persist?
pierre is simply saying that the conclusion is that Mac OSX is not a 'supported' platform simply because of lack of facillities to test on, not lack of OSX users. If you and others of the 'many' OSX PEAR developers would be so kind as to open up your boxes as a testing environment, rather than going off on a pointless tangent, OSX will be supported.
