Daniel, Can you explain how it is incompatible? I know that @desc is not in the PHPDoc standard, but how does this break compatibility? A PHPDoc parser should still be able to figure it out, and ignore @desc. That said - I think it would be a good idea to add @desc to the standard, for short one line descriptions. That's why we added it in the first place. By the way - we've received maybe two requests about this issue (the fact that the ZDE doesn't read the entire comment, but looks for @desc). Given that, saying it was often requested is a bit of an overstatement... Zeev
