[RFC3] Handling Backwards Compatibility in PEAR
Looks good. The vX naming is rather ugly (from an aesthetic pov) but it does what it's intended to do. Butt Ugly - there doesnt seem to be any great advantage over the last proposal of Foo2 /Foo3... which I considered the best solution to a dirty problem.and I didnt see any particular arguments against that.. - that made this any better.. Sorry to drag it out :) - but I keep quiet after pointing out the last rfc was pretty sensible, and didnt see any strong/realistic/clean arguments agaisnt it in the posts Regards Alan
