hi all,
we're adding pear-style package declarations to binarycloud - I have a
simple question. Our base directory is binarycloud, under that we have a
full tree (unlike the logically flat tree for packages in pear).
Given a 'base' directory of binarycloud/ and an install path of
binarycloud/base/core, is this package xml correct:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1" ?>
<package>
<status>devel</status>
<name>binarycloud.core</name>
<maintainer>
<user>turing</user>
<name>Alex Black</name>
<email>enigma@turingstudio.com</email>
</maintainer>
<release>
<version>r2-pre1</version>
<date>2001-10-10</date>
</release>
<filelist>
***** This right?
<dir name="base/core" baseinstalldir="binarycloud">
<file>Auth.php</file>
<file>Debug.php</file>
<file>Err.php</file>
<file>Lang.php</file>
<file>Page.php</file>
<file>Request.php</file>
<file>Sess.php</file>
</dir>
</filelist>
</package>
----------
Btw, in the future (when there is a functional package-get for pear) how
would a user handle a get of binarycloud? A long time ago, Stig mentioned
that it would probably be maintained as an external package - do you see a
user doing something like
$ pear-get packages.binarycloud.com binarycloud.core
?
