Hi all!
I obviously think, marketing is the worst describtion for what should be
done for PEAR. Marketing is "Selling an Eskimo an icebox", the way a not
named software house sells it's products.
But while the term is incorrect, the approach is very good. What PEAR
IMHO has to do is something like "public relations". People have to get
to know about PEAR. And (most important) people have to get the
possibillity to easy find a way to and into PEAR.
Thought, these are just my 2 cents for this "marketing" thing.

I like the way, Ignatius redesigned the site. Obviously it's pretty
heavy for new PEAR users to find their way through the PEAR website.
Same thing with the manual. There are many very important links deeply
hidden in html pages instead of appearing in the menu.
