Hey, you have to admit that "emeritus" has some more schwong over it
than "retired"? Webster says:
retired: withdrawn from active duty or business
emeritus: a veteran who has honorably completed his service
It's like the different between an old grumpy schmuck and someone who
may be able to give some advice. ;-)
