Why not, but this make XML valid tags, you can write XHTML valid page and not only the tags of HTML/XHTML, all tags are possible. And i have think (is not sure), to make HTML_Functions who extends XML_Functions and add some interresting features like controls if tags and their attributes are in the DTD of the doctype precised. But if the name make really a problem, i will change it.. > I think that XHTML will require you to use entities, but I'm not sure > about that... > At least you will have to write <div title="This contains > &quot;quotes&quot;"></div>... Yes, but i think this must do by the developpers. > > > Why ? because this method make a valid code. > > It's impossible to forget an </tag>, or the end / of <br /> or cross > > close tags like this : <b><i>Hello</b></i> > I think you can easily break HTML, as your methods do not validate the > data you pass. Yes, because this package is the XML_Functions, may be i will add a HTML_Functions (based on XML_Functions) for controls that. > > PEAR already has some packages that help you creating more complex > elements, like tables. I have already look for HTML_Table, but this works only for table element.. The goal of the package is to replace the standard echo "<tag>". I suppose some peoples doesn't like this approch, but in perl, this approach is very used on professional developpement (like in my company).
