Hi Bertrand G., As I have stated at least once before, it is the responsibility of the end userend user=who decided to put in script require_once 'Net/Monitor.php' ? alerted user=who gets the alert ?
to decide who gets what kinds of alerts by using Net_Monitor::setAlerts() at whatever stage of the monitoring session he/she chooses. The end user has complete control over which types of alerts get sent to which people by using Net_Monitor::setAlert() and Net_Monitor::setServices.Yes, as a whole, but not dedicaced user pro service, You can come out by running all setAlert/setService combination after another, pro each combination (users concerned)/(common set of service for those users) but it's awful. If we have 2 services: S and T 3 people: A is concerned in S, B in T, C-chief in both S and T (that's the true chiefs) S alerts should be sent to A and C T alerts to B and C How is it to be handled with Net_Monitor ? As it is, I need to run once S for A and C, and then T for B and C (need to connect 2 times) In bad cases C gets 2 alerts, and it's allready bad as he got a few.
