Choose a better ISP sounds a much better idea. XBM and related
formats being pure ascii, it's relatively simple (still sloooow) to
write a reader/write in php. If you plan to do the same with png
with some limitations, could be still possible (as stream for
instance), but jpeg... well forget it ;)
