Ok, I might be stating the obvious (actually appearently not) ... there is no basis for a vote on XML_RPC2. its a maintainers decision to release a new major version and Daniel seems active on XML_RPC. so while this discussion does seem fruitful, in the end its Daniels (and Stig's decision. if anyone feels that these two end up being "unreasonable" there is always the pear group, but it doesnt seem like there was any real attempt made to coordinate this with the current maintainers. regards, Lukas
