David Coallier (http://pear.php.net/user/davidc) has commented on the proposal for
XML::XML_Feed_Writer.
Comment:
Yes, I'm actually doing a whole rewritting which is why I didn't really say
anything about it in the past week, it has
XML/Feed/Writer.php
XML/Feed/Writer/atom.php
XML/Feed/Writer/rss2.php
XML/Feed/Writer/opml.php
XML/Feed/Writer/Build.php
So instead of calling a flat function all like it used to be, right now
people will most likely just call build, so something like
$build = new Build('atom');
then will do the usual, $build->title, $build->subtitle, etc. and for
instance:
new Build('atom') will be the class XML_Feed_Writer_Build, that will then
use the XML_Feed_Writer_Atom class, build the feed, and so on..
I think it's a much better design, but if you see a lack of anything in
this really really brief explanation, please tell me as I'm working on it
now.
Thank you,
