Yes working alone was in reference to working on the SMS2 package, which I was informed was a good idea, then told it wasn't :) I did mention I don't mind helping out on the SMS package also, and have been given the go ahead by one of the leads on that, I asked how I go about that now, still waiting for a little info on that.
It sounds like you have some different drivers to contribute. If you write those for the current package and post them to the bug tracking system (either bugs.horde.org or the PEAR bugs system is fine), then we'll look at them and if you are really interested in collaborating on the current package (which I'm not sure you realize works with PHP 5 _and_ PHP 4?) then after a few patches you'll get CVS karma for the Net_SMS source.
Initial thoughts on the current SMS package is that they only deal with SMS MT (Mobile Terminated) it doesn't deal with MOs (Mobile Originated) and how each company pass this data onto you. There is no support for binary messages in any of the drivers.
If you could map out what needs to be done here, create TODOs, file enhancement requests, write either mock code or real code, all of that would be helpful. Thanks, -chuck -- "we are plastered to the windshield of the bus that is time." - Chris
