I run "echo %PATH%" and *neither* so c:\php and c:\pear are in %PATH%. So how does it depend on my PATH? What PATH are you talking about? Also, I'm still forced to wonder what on earth the point of the local installation is when my local installations use global parameters, near as I can tell.
