Correct, the only time they upgrade to a new version is during a major
release which is circa every 18 months / 2 years.
I'm not sure when RHEL 6 is due out but am keeping my fingers crossed that
if PHP 5.3 can be released soon Redhat might pick that for the next release
although i'm pretty sure it will be based on Fedora 9 which includes PHP
5.2.5.
