Why do I find that strategy to be really bad ? Don't see why they'd pick a version and not even upgrade to bug fix releases :-) Ohh well ... http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=redhat look for PHP I'm seeing 4.3.9 and 4.3.2 usage, aka RHEL 3 and 4 http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=ubuntu the release that was mentioned before is like 4 releases old!! :o http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=debian sarge probably accounts for our 4.3.10 usage http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=freebsd this could account for some of the 5.1.2 usage I suppose but afaik it's not that hard to upgrade freebsd 6.1 to 6.2 or 6.3 had forgotten how useful this is :-) Anyway if we go hardcore, 4.4 and 5.1.6 we can estimate about losing around 6 to 8k requests a day but since 1.7 down to 1.4 will still work I think we won't really lose anything ... I'm seeing usage of some of the PHP 5.2 people still having PEAR 1.4.x :-) Any further comments or ideas ? :) Regards Helgi
