I wouldn't do a factory here. Let's just release the code as it is and
wait if the multiline feature request comes :)

You need to register a new package on pear. It will get approved and
then you can at least upload the first release (version "0.y.z", not
stable!).
To apply for an svn account, go to http://php.net/svn and follow
the
link. Mention your PEAR package there. The PEAR president will approve
your account then.
