And I'll raise you : http://localhost/go-pear.php
not likely, even when I
copy the go-pear.php file to the root of a web server your example does not
work, could not work, is a lame means to berate someone that would like to
help get this process to work. In the three responces so far NOT ONE has
given me (or any one else) any clue as to what to do. If this team is
planning on having PEAR ship (and be installable) with PHP 4.3.2 then maybe
somebody better step up to the plate tell those of us that work in the
Windows enviroment what is needed to get the product installed. If you need
someone to provide a windows based installer package then lets do it, but
quit throwing stuff over the wall and expecting it to get installed without
anyone getting upset over having to spend time reading script files trying
to figure out what was suppose to happen.
So lets start:
1. You need PHP installed and working, the version is?
2. The PHP.ini file should have an include_path statement that points to the
PEAR directory
3. The PEAR directory should be ? typical C:\PHP\PEAR so
include_path=C:\PHP\PEAR
4. The go-pear.bat file runs the PHP command line interpreter and executes
go-pear.php but does not create the paths needed to prepare the pear.bat.
-- This is where I end...
If you want I'll create you an installshield package or write a vb.net
application, whatever
No insults were intended, I was attempting to explain the meaning of wasted
time.
go-pear.php is still running, I'll let it go tonight and maybe in the
morning?
