Thank you.
1) If I try to approach this link, it fails. I tried
http://dickmann.org/pear.php instead, and a form
appeared, with a transfer
to a configuration page set out for unix path names.
2) I downloaded the pear.php script, and ran it under Apache 2. This
displayed no icons, which is understandable, but it would not move off page
1. I could not access the configuration page, nor any other.
3) I tried running the http://dickmann.org/pear.php
page, giving it my path
names (F:\php, and so on), but this failed with problem in the /temp
directory on the host machine! (As I expected)
I would dearly like to install pear on my machine, (on drive F:, as C: is
not big enough), and get on with my project. I would happily turn on
tracing, and report what has happened, if someone would only let me know how
to, and test the go-pear.bat variants.
Regards
