One possible way to store how long to use the cached file
in the non-db module would be to touch() the cache file into
the future time and later when accessing it to check if
filemtime() is in the past.
Although must say I don't know how costly is it to check
filemtime(). Some other caching classes i have seen store
the cache TTL in a separate file. I think checking filemtime()
should still be faster than opening a separate file and reading
a timestamp value from there. Can someone educate me on this
one ? :)
