Ah. I see the confusion.
Visual C++ is an integrated development environment designed to help people
develop applications in C++.
The original questioner, way back then, wanted to use the Visual C++
integrated development environment as an environment from which to launch
applications in PHP. The Visual C++ integrated development environment isn't
designed to do that, it can only launch (and debug) applications written in
C++. So I suggested an alternative method of achieving such a goal (i.e.
using TextPad as an IDE).
It is obviously true that C++ (the language) could be used to WRITE such a
launch platform, and it is also obviously true that Visual C++ (the IDE)
could be used as an environment in which such a launch application could be
written, but that wasn't what the questioner was asking. He/she wanted an
EXISTING launch platform, and was asking if the Visual C++ IDE could do the
job.
I hope that clears up any confusion you may have had.

PS. Thanks for your killfile suggestion, but I honestly don't have time for
this childish nonsense, so I'm leaving the list. Bye now.
