This is a bad idea, because the docs are going to quickly drift
out of sync unless someone volunteers to handle keeping them in
sync. The same thing has certainly happened with the code.
I think we are at the point where we need to call the 3.x series
feature-complete, and concentrate on getting PHP4 out into open
beta as soon as possible.
Of course, this depends on Zeev and Andi saying that the Zend side
of things is ready to "open wide", but I think we're approaching the
time when they've said they would be ready for this.
