There were new functions added, but I'm not sure if they came
with documentation. The online documentation also hasn't been
regenerated from the source for a while, which I'm working on.

Nobody has written one.

Well, one problem is that people tend to get confused about new
functions being listed that aren't available to them. And I suspect
nobody uses the docs that come with the distribution because they
come in an unusable format. (Now that I've set up the various tools
to generate the documentation on a couple of systems, I can do it
pretty quickly, but most people are probably not going to bother,
especially if they're not using Red Hat.)
My eventual goal is that the online documentation be updated from
the SGML source regularly (automatically), and that a snapshot of
the manual in HTML format be included in each release tarball.

Nobody is being paid to do this on a day-to-day basis that I know
of. People come and go, and contribute when they can. If you think
you can help, please pitch in!
