Hi,
I'll put my oar in and say that I do use dreamweaver but do the boring
mundane stuff, in the same way I used the brief editor years ago to write
all the boring Clipper @SAY commands I still had to know what I was doing
when a problem cropped up
When I really need total control I get stuck into the HTML - I made a
concerted effort to learn barebones HTML before using anything "automatic".
If we have to get into the I am superior to you because I use NOTEPAD - wow
not even NOTEPAD PLUS, then I would still be coding in 6800 machine code
(not assembly language because I started with 256 Bytes RAM in those days) -
after writing a 6800 emulator on my PC - or a little less fanciful I would
write my own PHP 4 just because I can.
When I used Borland C with syntax Highlighting I was in heaven - 2 seconds
to find any mismatched parenthesis, unbalanced quotes etc - If I am a total
Moron the best tools in the world won't help but they will get me a little
further until I'm found out -

Principle
