I know the module you are talking about, I think that is an old version of
PHP. I don't think PHP4 can be configured like that. I need PHP4 because I
need session variables.
Coldfusion is a server side scripting language much like PHP except that it
works exactly like HTML using TAGS which makes it quite easy to work with,
it also comes with a very good admin interface.
If you want to look, take a peek at www.allaire.com
It is cross platform and there is a free version called Coldfusion Express.
I think I will end up using it, PHP is giving me too much grief today!

Ah, I always use "Loadable Modules" ... which under MS-Windows means a DLL.
Instead of running the PHP application to execute the PHP code every time a
page
is accessed, the Apache software actually loads a module that gives it PHP
capability -- and it just handles the scripts itself. You do this by
specifying
a loadable module to Apache in its config. file (and a filetype) and
thereafter
it handles the scripts itself.
I'd try that anyway if I were you as it's better for performance in the
longer
run, I believe.
The details are beyond me as I only know Linux -- check the doc's though coz
this is standard so it's supported etc... although I wonder about PHP4 yet?
I
don't know.

I know nothing about ColdFusion. What is it?
