Yes, I understand.
Can you understand that there is code regarding dependencies in PEAR 1.4.0
that addresses the concerns you have with the way dependencies were
problematic in the past?
And, can you understand that I think a review of the solutions to those
historical problems should be done before making a decision on this issue?
In the time that's been spent defending a decision that's based on old
information, the code addressing the old issues could have been reviewed
three times.
