All I've been saying is that I don't think decisions made by people who haven't reviewed the code affecting the issue at hand should be considered. People need to read the code before passing judgment on it or the issues the code addresses. I don't know why you feel that my statements to this end are personal attacks. If people who haven't read the code feel like I'm personally attacking them, they're certainly entitled to that opinion. However, I've made no personal attacks. I'm just asking people to read. It takes time (there is a LOT of new code in PEAR -- I've read it!), it's inconvenient, and it may even seem unnecessary. However, it _is_ necessary. Read, read, read: Decisions about the PEAR core need to be made from an informed position, period. -Clay -- Killersoft.com
