Try: $ pear config-show to display your local config, usually you will see that the 'preferred_state' is set to 'stable'. If you want packages that are beta or stable, then you should do: $ pear config-set preferred_state beta (You can also use 'alpha' to make listing, etc. even less restrictive) ===== --- Jesus M.
