Do you know of any weapons industry people who are using open source software? I'd be shocked, unless we're talking Joe Bob's Texas semi-automatic emporium website. In general, open source code has no security certification, except that you can read the code yourself.
What we really need is a tax license. "I authorize these funds to be used for education, social programs, and preserving the environment. 20% may be used for defense of our national territories. No money is authorized for aggressive imperialism"
:)

Hey Devs Does anyone know if there's a licence compatible with PEAR yet for instance excluding the weapons industry? I guess the answer is 'no' as the word 'exclude' clashes with the 'free software' spirit of PEAR. Yet however unlikely, it's just an uncomfortable thought that the things I create in my spare time are used by such guys. Yes, I know, my teflon pan was born in NASA labs. -sven
