This is not about relaying on anything... I'm talking as a developement
issue. With a not *usable* package we can't even get bug reports. I
repeat: It has no sense on having a package in this state.

I know that. I don't think pierre is my employee, I offered my help. I
want Date to work so I can get feedback and bugs reports for Date_Span.
If pierre doesn't have the time to fix it, it can give me rights to do
it.

Again, beta means it's usable but might have bugs. If we don't respect
what states means we can stop using them.
