IMO, what's missing the most in PEAR is a database wrapper (not an abstraction) based on DB, but faster. Some kind of DB_Lite package. Cache_Lite is the example to follow in this regard. As of your package, it could be a complement to the existing DB package, I don't see a need for a new package (but I haven't checked your code yet, so I might be wrong). Bertrand Mansion Mamasam
