Of course native function will work faster, it's normal..:)
As to ADODB and PEAR, IMHO, PEAR better when ADO, because
it have more flexible Error Handling..
M'base I don't use..
P.S. As to PHPLib DB, i does not like that class,
because if I try to write something like :
$db->query($sql);
while($db->next_record())
{
...
..and I wnat to use values from recordset,
in another query, like..
$db->query("... id=".$db->f('key'));
It does not work, and should not..:)
}
I need to create new object. $db2 = new DB_..()
And this obj create new connection to DB,
but I don't want this..:(
So, it my opinion..
I like PEAR.
