Cached Queries?? Are you thinking about Microsoft ADO? This is not it. This
is just some class that John Lim made up and decided to call it "ADODB". I
have never looked into ADODB's internal so I might be wrong here hahaha :)
ADODB has the ability to cache queries results.
But I saw the user interface and I don't like it at all. I much prefer PEAR
even if it's 100x slower (which isn't the case). Clarity beats speed any day.
Agreed. Real optimization lies in the database schema (use of views, triggers, rules, server-side functions).
The problem is in MySQL not PEAR. The original sender of the mail should work with PostgreSQL.
