Yes, it is compatible because it doesn't use any optimization like "limit" or
"top".
It's as simple as this:
$i = 0;
while ($i<$this->pageSize) {
if (!$row = $this->dbresult->fetchRow(DB_FETCHMODE_ASSOC,
$rowstart+$i+1))
break;
[...]
$i++;
}
