While I'm yet indifferent (have to thing more) about .php5 file
extension, your reason doesn't count, Martin. As the files of
PEAR packages are only include()'d the file extension doesn't
matter.
[Topic PHP5 packages]
If PEAR is gonna to refuse packages coded in plain PHP5 it is
going to hit itself. PEAR certainly has to put *very* more
thoughts in PHP5 than right now. I know people are repeating
that PHP5 is not important until it is widely used, but if we
look beyound the borders of PEAR we would see that PHP5 has
become quite important yet.
Here, I have to agree with Hans - I certainly do want to use
PHP5 only packages. Every time I'm writing PHP5 applications
I'm missing the awesome code base of PEAR.
Now, I'm going to have a look at the package itself :)
