I'm curious about the status of Jesus Castagnetto's Math_Matrix package as well - one of the important steps in going from GPS data to a projected map is to transform, rotate, or scale the points to match a given coordinate system, and matrix transformations are the preferred way of doing this.
Is Math_Matrix on the road to a 1.0 release?
