Complains no such option 'G' (or 'g') pear.bat seems to just pass the parameters given through to PHP (it is PHP that is complaining)
C:\>pear -G
Error in argument 6, char 2: option not found G
Can you check
1.that there are not other pear.bat's on the system
2. that pear.bat attempts to run pear.in (probably from c:\php4\pear\pear.in), and NOT pearwin.php
3. that pear.php (probably in c:\php4\pear\pear.in) looks a bit like
http://cvs.php.net/co.php/php4/pear/scripts/pear.in?r=1.60
Actually It may be worth adding my little hack to franks bootstrapper so we can do a gpear.exe to fire up the gtk installer...
