Hi Folks:
Shouldn't 2.0.x releases of the XML_Tree package really be packaged as
XML_Tree2? There are backwards compatibility issues. For instance, the
changelog says:
- Removed deprecated methods in the form xxx_yyyy() like add_child(),
get_element(), etc. Only the PEAR CS compilant ones should be used now
addChild(), getElement(), etc. (cox)
So, if someone who's using the old method names now does
"pear upgrade-all" they're screwed.
(Granted, all of these changes happened back in September and I don't
recall complaints about it.)
Thanks,
